Vintage Maritime Seiko Clock

The history of the Seiko clocks. These clocks have sailed hundreds of thousands of miles in one of the many cabins of large Japanese Naval Ships. They were found aboard ships that are grounded on the Indian coast. Once they arrive at the shipyard, the ships undergo complete dismantling of usable parts.  Made in Japan in the 1970’s, these clocks were all connected by electric wire to the mother clock in the Captain’s cabin of the ship. These clocks have all been converted to battery operated movement.
